Mr. Kandris has nearly 30 years of experience in the combined areas of general management, technical sales, market leadership and entrepreneurship.
He has held senior executive and board positions with world wide responsibilities in major US, Japanese, and European corporations. In 2005 he seized the moment by winning $5,000 in seed money and first place honors at Binghamton University’s annual business plan competition.
As the C.E.O. of The Place Finder LLC, he was selected as the East Coast Student Entrepreneur of the year in both 2006 and 2007 by the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards. Bert was also recognized as the Student Leader of the Year for helping coordinate a Hurricane Katrina Relief effort.
He has been featured in the book Millennial Leaders as one of the United States top Gen Y leaders.
He has accomplished all of this all before his 25th birthday.
Today Bert is a certified mentor and mentor program coordinator through the National Mentoring Partnership, a spoken word artist, and a passionate advocate for those without a voice. He has also been a featured speaker on the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour Circuit.

Rob is the Executive Director of The Nicholson Center where he is working on his newest venture which provides day habilitation programming and employment opportunities to MRDD adults. This nonprofit company began providing services through Medicaid in February of 2009. This company allows me to run a social enterprise and put my business talents to work while improving my community.
