Chris Schuring brings to Ternion Bio an extensive 30-year career in the technology field, with advancement into executive management. Mr. Schuring held key management positions at six start-up firms, in both strategic and tactical areas, and he consulted and held TAB positions with Internet start-up companies such as eHealthco.com, BigMachine.com, Krynex, Strio, XCF Tech, FiveStar Medical, Gpower and GenUTech.

In addition to his start-up experience, Mr. Schuring has worked for Fortune 500 companies including Litton, Memorex and Signetics. Most recently, he worked in the solar field as the national director of sales for PacificPower, where he increased the sales force and subsequent sales volumes by more than 400 percent per year.

Included in his experience is the development of international operations in Korea, Japan, the United Kingdom and Germany, plus domestic operational development in New York and California. He has had training in several quality improvement programs such as Crosby and Dale Carnegie educational series. Hide

Ingrid Rosten is Executive Director of CleanStart (clean energy) CleanStart, SARTA’s clean energy initiative, stimulates early stage companies to provide next generation clean, renewable and efficient technology. Over 100 clean energy firms have been located in the region providing 1800 jobs.

Ingrid was co-founder and Managing Director of the International Business Incubator (IBI) - Silicon Valley, located in San José, California from 1995 - 2005. She pioneered the first international business incubator and receives global recognition. In the latter years she spent time supporting the development of foreign government incubators/centers affiliated with the IBI. She oversaw the Center for International Visitors, a State Department sponsored program.

Prior to the creation of the IBI, Ms. Rosten was a key member of the team that created nationwide business and engineering exchange programs for Hewlett Packard. Hide

Phil is actively involved in our community, serving on the Metro Chamber Communications Committee and Co-Chair of the Metro EDGE Communications Committee. On weekends he can be found pursuing a plethora of passions behind a grill, in Tahoe, on the river and most importantly next to his wife and young son.
