Founded in 2005, Six Degreez provides event planning, marketing and community outreach services for businesses and organizations in the Sacramento region. Sharon Gerber currently serves on the boards of Positive Coaching Alliance and is a member of Rotary Sacramento.

Sharon has received numerous rewards for her commitment to the Sacramento community including the Sacramento Theatre Company’s “2008 Muse Awards” for her "creative genius in business" and the 2009 President’s Award from the Greater Sacramento Urban League. Most recently, Sharon was appointed the Liaison to the Arts to assist in facilitating the Mayor’s "For Art’s Sake" initiative.

For sixteen years, Sharon worked for Wells Fargo as a top performing Store Manager in the Bay Area and later as their Community Development Manager for the Central Valley, New Mexico and Northern California markets. Sharon is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and lives in Sacramento with her husband, Rob Scherer, and daughter, Rebekah.

As the successful owner and CEO of Griselda’s Ventures Inc. she has continued to expand her business while continuing to be a strong advocate for small business owners and minorities in the community. She began her successful career at the age of 21 by opening Texas Mexican Restaurant with $40,000 she borrowed from credit cards. With her mother’s recipes in hand the restaurant became a Sacramento institution and helped her expand in to the ever competitive catering market.

Currently she manages her multiple catering, restaurant and consulting divisions which include Griselda’s Catering & Event Planning, Griselda’s Weddings, Food on the Fly Aviation Catering, Griselda’s Direct, Tex Mex at the Capitol and Griselda’s World Café.

She is one of the only restaurant owners in Sacramento to be a Union House and proud member H.E.R.E. Local 49.

With all her success, she has never lost sight of giving back to the community that has embraced her and her family or her employees by organizing them to give them the benefits and opportunities they deserve. She has become a vocal and active advocate for small business owners and issues that affect the Sacramento community. She has donated her time and resources to innumerable local non-profit organizations, spanning everything from the arts to education. She currently sits on the Executive Board of the Sacramento Metro Chamber and is the Past-Chair of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She has been awarded the Small Business Advocate of the Year by the California Chamber of Commerce and Business Woman of the Year by the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Griselda is regularly featured on local television demonstrating her cooking techniques and sharing with Sacramento her love of food, style and culture. Patricia launched Real World 101 after graduating from college and finding herself mired in the debt of student loans, and not quite sure what to do with herself. She created Real World 101 as the organization she would have liked to have when she graduated to smooth the transition from college to the real world.

She is a graduate of New York University with bachelors' degrees in marketing and management from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Ms. McKim currently serves as Vice President of External Affairs for AT&T in Sacramento where she leads a team of professionals serving the North and Central areas including Sacramento, Redding, Stockton, Modesto, Concord, Marin, Fresno and Bakersfield.

Ms. Kathy McKim currently serves as Vice President of External Affairs for AT&T in Sacramento where she leads a team of professionals serving the North and Central areas including Sacramento, Redding, Stockton, Modesto, Concord, Marin, Fresno and Bakersfield.

Kathy began her career with Pacific Bell in California in 1986 as a Summer Intern in Operator Services while completing her MBA. She held a variety of positions in product marketing and outside and inside sales for both the business and consumer markets.

Kathy’s experience includes sales, strategic planning, project management, call center management, large project implementation and sales operations for SBC/AT&T. She spent 16 of her 21 years with AT&T in Northern California and was involved with the initial launch of Broadband technology (DSL) within AT&T in California. After relocating to San Antonio, Texas in 2003 to run Sales Operations for Global and Enterprise Business, Kathy moved into External Affairs in 2005 and had responsibility for all areas of operations and support for the AT&T External Affairs organization.

Kathy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Public Affairs from the University of Denver and a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of San Francisco. She also completed Data Communications certifications within the company and at UC Berkeley. She is actively involved with the Professional Businesswomen of AT&T and has led a successful AT&T mentoring group over the last four years. She serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Board of St. John’s Shelter for Women and Children in Sacramento. She is also on the board of KVIE, the Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps, the Great Valley Center in the Central Valley and the advisory board for American Leaders.
